My Mum, Roberta (who comes into Tart) forwarded your Blog site to me. I love your work, I think it’s beautiful, creative, and highly skilled.
As I’m currently half way through a year of having no ‘day job’ and taking time to write a series of 8 stories for children between 4 and 7 years old, I wondered if you would be interested in illustrating them? I have completed 3 of the 8 stories so far, and have just started on the 4th.
I’m very interested in electronic publishing and so of course I’d need to find an Illustrator, rather than a Publisher providing me with one. (My husband, Jeremy, does internet marketing and web-design etc, so an electronic route for the web/iPad/Kindle makes sense.)
Is this worth you chatting about with me? I don’t have any experience in sorting this kind of thing out, but I’m guessing we’d chat that through if you thought it worth considering as an idea. I’ll not be offended if you’re not interested! I could email you the 3 stories if you wanted to see what they’re like and to help you decide whether a chat would be good or not?
